Bege Bowers of Youngstown State University, who served as CEA Web Manager and Editor of The CEA Forum for a number of years, has stepped down. The CEA Forum is now hosted and edited at Widener University under CEA Publications Editor Daniel Robinson and Associate Editor Janine Utell. We thank Professor Bowers for her invaluable service, and we thank the CEA membership and readers of The CEA Forum for their patience while this transition has been made.
We have had some catching up to do, but starting in 2006, we plan to maintain a twice-annually publication schedule. The CEA Forum will be published in January, including information about the upcoming annual conference in the spring, and in July, including reports from that immediately past conference. (Note that this issue includes a report from the 2004 conference, the forthcoming issue will include a report from the 2005 conference, and the next regular issue in July will feature reports from the 2006 conference.)
We encourage CEA members to submit pieces on the teaching of English literature and writing from theoretical and practical perspectives, notes from the classroom, and ideas for reviews and columns. We welcome suggestions and feedback.
Click here for submission guidelines for all CEA Publications.
