Eurosim 2008 - Widener University

Eurosim 2008 (pictures) was held at the European Academy Otzenhausen, Saarland, Germany. It was co-hosted by the University of Trier and the Europa Institut at the University of Saarland.

Widener senior Vitaliy Kin (International Relations/Spanish, '08) took on the role of German Chancellor Angela Merkel, while Amanda Pipenberg (Criminal Justice/Sociology, '10) played the German Foreign Minister, Colin Densford (Criminal Justice, '10) played Defense Minister, Kim Farina (International Relations/Government & Politics, '08) represented the German representative to the Policial & Security Committee (an ambasadorial level position), and Kelsey Brown (International Relations/Government & Politics, '08) took on the role of Permanent Representative to the EU. Mary Fernandez (International Relations/Spanish, '08) acted as the Czech Permanent Ambassador to the EU, working with students from NYU and the University of Twente in the Netherlands who made up the remainder of the Czech delegation.
