
Instructions to Authors
The Journal of Solid Waste Technology and Management publishes papers on solid waste technology and management, material resources, minerals, fuel and other natural resources. All papers are peer reviewed. If you wish to contribute, please comply with the following requirements:
Submitting the manuscript is a representation that it has not been copyrighted or published, and is not being submitted for publication elsewhere. All papers submitted should have a main author to whom correspondence will be sent. The main author carries full responsibility that all other authors have approved the manuscript.
MANUSCRIPT
Papers must be submitted electronically. All files should be compatible with the WindowsTM operating system and MS WORDTM . Include all authors’ names, affiliations, postal addresses and email addresses on the title page. Titles and headings should be as short as feasible. Avoid using footnotes—instead use referencing. Units should be SI, or American with SI in parentheses.
ABSTRACT
An abstract is required. The abstract should clearly outline the main idea of the paper. It should not exceed 200 words. Also include six key words after the abstract for indexing purposes.
ILLUSTRATIONS
All illustrations (tables, graphs, photographs and figures) should be properly identified by numbers. Each illustration should be mentioned within the text. Illustrations should have short captions.
REFERENCES
All references should be consecutively numbered or alphabetized in a reference list at the end of the paper. All references should be complete and give adequate information.
SUBMISSION
The manuscript (in English) should be sent as an email attachment to solid.waste@widener.edu. The Editor will forward the manuscript to the appropriate Regional Editor who will oversee the review process.
