DPMA/AITP international every year from 1985-2008.
- Widener SBA and AITP also was awarded

4-year institution
award for 1998-1999 - a joint award from AITP international and the
education
foundation.
- Widener AITP was awarded the Region 11
Outstanding chapter
award for 1998-1999, 1999-2000, 2000-2001, 2001-2002, 2002-2003, 2003-2004, 2004-2005, 2005-2006, 2006-2007.
- Awarded AITP Student Faculty Advisor of

- Several students have competed in AITP
national Java, Web
Master, Database, Network Analysis, and paper competitions. With several
students placing in the top three papers for several years.

BUSINESS
PROCESS INNOVATION CENTER OF EXCELLENCE DIRECTOR- Sept. 2003 to present
In October 2003, Widener University's
School of
Business Administration was named one of seven worldwide
"Centers of
Excellence" for business process innovation by SAP AG, the world’s
leading provider of business software solutions, and IDS Scheer, the
leading provider of business process management and information
technology solutions. In May 2007, IDS Scheer
invited Widener's BPI Center to be part of the IDS Scheer Innovation and
Education Network, once again only 7 universities worldwide were invited
to participate in this group.The center offers executive
education workshops, seminars and programs on business process
analysis, innovation and related topics to impart knowledge gained in
research efforts. The
Center for Business Process
Innovation Excellence enables our faculty to collaborate closely with
companies
and organizations to focus on process-centric business innovation,
generating a wealth of resources for both classroom and research
activities.
SAP and
IDS Scheer recently founded
the Institute for Business Process Innovation, a joint effort that will
promote research into next-generation business solutions by applying
the latest innovations to the companies' market-leading software
solutions.

Participated
in the design, implementation, and evaluation of the MIS computer
lab.
Configured the MIS lab, secured an outside installation firm.
Wrote
Lab Usage Policy, Lab Assistant Duties. Coordinate Lab updates. Duties
include scheduling, training, and coordinating lab assistants,
monitoring
lab usage, and maintaining a liaison with computer services to support
the lab. Arranged a partnership with IBM and the School of
business administration which included the donation of IBM software
applications,
limited support, and funds. Conducted Lab upgrades of hardware,
software,
and configuration. Maintain student accounts and database
permissions. |
